Freshly planted wither “Peace” Rose?

newly planted “Peace” rose wilted?

I just planted a hybrid “peace” tea rose. Its supposed to get some big beautiful flowers. I planted yesterday in the front garden is in full sun. Excavated around twice the size of the pot, fill it all with fresh earth, and place the plant in that country. Yesterday we had a little rain, so do not water roses. Today we have a warm sunny day, and when I went outside to see the rose, all flowers bend the neck bent. I called the factory yard, where I bought it, and I was told to remove all fresh dirt planted around and make a wall, so that the plant could draw. Sounds like the rain is causing it to wilt? I think not, but the soil around the rose is still moist. Any suggestions you could give would be appreciated greaty.

Thanks,
Sondrio

leave it alone. It’s just the shock of transplant. It will take several weeks for the pink to adapt to new conditions is. The plants need extra water after being transplanted and roses are heavy drinkers, for starters. Do not drain.
