Do herbal tea “go to seed” such as vegetables? Fresh herbs and recipes?

not “go to seed”, such as vegetables? fresh herbs recipes too!

So this is the first year I’ve had a garden. I ruined a lot, but I also learned a lot:) Next year will be better. However, I learned that once the plant flowers or seeds will be done. I have 3 herbs, lemon balm, mint chocolate and chamomile. I have garnered a bit, but needed much more! The mint has begun to bloom flowers and wondered whether that meant that the season is done. I know that with chamomile flowers is what we harvest, but with the mint leaves .. Any advice would be great! Thanks! Oh, and if anyone has any fresh ideas or recipes of what I can do with these herbs, please share!

lemon balm and mint chocolate are perennial plants (that grow year after year in the cycles of the same plant) Manzanilla (at least for me) is an annual publication that die each year and need to be replanted. Melisa be extended gradually to the land planting is not bad. It is happy and replanting where you end up with groups same. Chocolate Mint is very invasive, and unless you really want to grow to the point where it becomes a weed and should be cut to get rid of it, had plants in macetas.Yo only use three of those for tea, sorry, no recetas.Sin But I can recommend other herbs can be used in cooking: oregano, marjoram, thyme – there are many varieties, I espeically like lemon thyme, tarragon, rosemary and basil. Chives and garlic chives also . Basil, chives and garlic chives probably treat as annuals and replant with regularity, the rest are planted perennes.He both potted herbs and earth, the good thing about pots is that you can move to change the screen or to respond to changes light / humidity / temperature requirements. I can make my own mosaic pots, so that the herbs in pots makes a beautiful display that can change with the estaciones.Mi garden was started 30 years ago with cuttings from a garden of herbs friends , herbs are so easy it’s a good way to start. My interest in cooking began at the same time, so using herbs that growning. Now I am a great gardener and a great cook, is a very fun and rewarding couple of hobbies

Mint spreads by root. Could you seed. lemon balm tea is good as a chocolate mint ….. can be used to make flavored sugar, tea, jam a side dishes, chamamile tea is good as a relaxing and good for headaches and allergies hear well. You can use chamamile make potpourri.
